errand : post office!

today i head over to the post office to send off my flipside ticket request! i've registered for a ticket, i've purchased my money order, i've decorated my very beautiful envelope, and now, i send the request out into space to bring me messages of favor and adventure.

camping at flipside is a very good idea because of:

b. self-sufficiency
c. not having to wear clothes

destination : book sale!

the quaint book sale at the quaint howson branch public library was the perfect destination on this clear and warm saturday afternoon. wood paneling, elderly folk, a plate of cookies, and $1 paperbacks! the handsome man and i scored books on the history of sun worship, samurais, emotional health, the roman empire, the northern borderland of the american revolution, spiritual entrepreneuring, hong kong, the holy grail, and lance armstrong.

in celebration of our one year anniversary :

i sent lilies, he left roses, some sweet nothings and some sweet somethings,

we took poblano rice, white wine, fresh salsa, and coconut ice cream,

i surprised him with a chinese compass (that points south?,) and bed was found early :
