the quaint book sale at the quaint howson branch public library was the perfect destination on this clear and warm saturday afternoon. wood paneling, elderly folk, a plate of cookies, and $1 paperbacks! the handsome man and i scored books on the history of sun worship, samurais, emotional health, the roman empire, the northern borderland of the american revolution, spiritual entrepreneuring, hong kong, the holy grail, and lance armstrong.
